Somewhere between a late-night literary program and a wild improv show lies Les Auteurs qui n’existent pas (The Authors Who Don’t Exist), a rigorous yet zany retrospective dedicated to authors invented on the spot. Venturing into every style and genre, the improvisers create on the spot the greatest works that never existed, accompanied by scholarly explanations and blunt biographical snippets delivered by equally dubious experts. A theatrical production that will delight fans of the absurd.
