What is humor? It can be described as unifying or divisive; subversive or upholding the status quo. In the face of contemporary social and ecological challenges, what are its transformative powers—but also its risks? And what does it reveal about our shared yet polarized culture?

To explore these questions, Olivia Gazalé (philosopher) and Vanessa Juarez (social psychologist) will be joined by comedians Julie Conti, Marion Agoston, Yoann Provenzano, and Charles Nouveau. Featuring sketches, expert insights, and audience participation, this unique academic-comedy gala will take us into the hidden corners of our world and our psyche… Not for the faint of heart.
